Thanks to everyone who loves the Troll Window!

Loved seeing this mention with a great snapshot on Flickr.
this is one of the absolute best things about living in san francisco—the magical troll window. it's always a different scene—this one happens to be tolls in wonderland. it's on 18th and valencia.
And, from sfca's The Mission:
The Troll Window (18th Street, between Valencia and Mission Street, San Francisco) — this has to be one of the most unusual places on the entire San Francisco shopping scene. This is an entire apartment that has been dedicated to displaying a vast range of outrightly bizarre, troll dolls whole appearance and themes are changed on a monthly basis. Even more strangely, the place is amazingly popular and even has international visitors!
Crazy, but fun: This post

Things you might have missed in SF:
Also: the Alamo Square Park shoe garden, the columbarium, the Castro Theatre, the Center for the Book, the troll window, Trouble Coffee in the Outer Sunset, William Stout books, Tartine Bakery, Arizmendi Bakery, etc.

Posts about the Troll Window

"A first-floor apartment window on 18th Street near Valencia acts as showcase and stage for a cast of wild-haired troll dolls, which appear in monthly scenes reflecting upcoming holidays or current events in popular culture. 18th St., between Valencia and Mission streets. It's been eight years since I've left SF- still, whenever I'm in town I have to pass by the window- last year I actually got to meet the creator- and we had a talk through the window..."
